I remember in Jr.High us girls use to HATE when we had gym & had to swim in this pool!Looks like everyone is having fun but we never did!LOL

Remember those holy bathing suits we had to wear. Our mothers wore them also. Class of 73 was the first in a long time to get new ones. Remember Miss Welter?

I believe that pool is now the "multi-purpose" room at the Jr. High. It always had a strange smell, as I remember it was kinda' an unpleasent place.

When I was in junior high school here, this was the multi-purpose room. We did some gym classes down here (like some weird form of hockey with styrofoam sticks), but there was always an irrational fear of falling through the floor into what used to be the pool! Was always disappointed Bellevue didn't have swimming anymore.
