Greenwood 1

Not the place it used to be I hear. In my opinion they kind of ruined it with all the fences. Greenwood was THE place to be in the summer..that and maybe the Milpond pool or Fernwood. Fireworks, 4th of July Jamboree, ball games, volleyball league etc. It was GREAT family fun...all the teens hung out on the wall you see there.

Remeber how they would hand out sign-up sheets at the end of the school year for all the free sporting events??? Is it still that way??? Certainly not like that here in Washington State. Wouldn't it be something if more professional athletes returned home to do something as grand as this was for the community when Bob Peters started Greenwood?
