It started life as Clancy's hamburger shop and is now transformed into the Medicine Shop.

When I was in junior high for 9th grade, I discovered an old rule that if you were on the honor roll, you got to leave your study hall and go to the public library on Main St. Nobody ever took advantage of it. So I talked another girl into going with me. Clancy's had just opened, and we'd spend 5 mins in the library, and the rest at Clancy's. Books and burgers. I think we were the end of the rule.

Bellevue's first fast food joint. NO -- Seamans was NOT fast food.

My brother Tyler and I used to walk to Clancys from our house on Main Street when we were in elementary school at Ridge. (He always had to buy our kid's meal, since I never had the money. The theme still rings true in adulthood...) I looked last year, and there are still parking signs for Clancy's in the parking lot behind Subway restaurant!

my mom used to work there when my sister and I were really little. I remember going there to see her sometimes; my sister and I would always take hand fulls of sunflower seeds from the buffet and eat them! Those were the days...
